Another Step Closer to Preservation

Pu'uhonua o Wailupe continues to take small steps forward toward preservation as we move along in the Clean Water and Natural Lands Funds Commission process. Our efforts to plan and propagate native plants is also paying off. The 'uhaloa patch is 3 ft high and flourishing. We got a small grant to help pay for more native species, tools, and signage from Hawai'i Peoples Fund as we vigilantly kia'i (protect) this place and our Kupuna.
