Wailupe Following Heavy Rains

On Sunday, May 19th, 2024 after a week of heavy rains the iwi protectors of Wailupe went to check on the burials and the landscape - there was no damage or washout on the Pu'uhonua. Our planting of native species have been successful. We also took out brush that was a potential fire hazard and cut back the grass and plants. Members and volunteers were given newly printed Pu'uhonua o Wailupe shirts.
